Peter Stoger hints at Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang inclusion

Peter Stoger suggests that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be included in Borussia Dortmund's squad to face Freiburg, despite ongoing links with a move to Arsenal.

Borussia Dortmund manager Peter Stoger has opened the door for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to return to the matchday squad for this weekend's Bundesliga visit of Freiburg.

The 28-year-old was overlooked for selection once again against Hertha Berlin last week, as speculation over his uncertain future at the Westfalenstadion continues to rumble on.

Arsenal are desperate to get a deal over the line for the Gabon international, but talks are understood to have come to a standstill over a disagreement in valuation.

Speaking at his press conference ahead of the Freiburg game on Saturday, Stoger told reporters: "He trained well this week and left a good impression. He has qualified himself for the squad at the weekend if he continues like that."

Dortmund have dropped points in their last two league outings, leaving them sixth in the Bundesliga standings.
