Alexis Sanchez: 'I'm improving all the time'

Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez believes that he has improved as a footballer since joining the Gunners.

Alexis Sanchez has said that he believes he has become a better player since he joined Arsenal.

The Chile international enjoyed a fine debut season at the Emirates Stadium, scoring 25 goals in 52 appearances across all competitions.

Sanchez has mainly been deployed as a left-sided midfielder by Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, and the 26-year-old believes that he has made the next step up after adapting to the role.

"I had a breakthrough in my football life," he told BBC Sport.

"Now I switch to the left, I make goals, I pass, I am evolving. "And if I am put in at centre forward, I will do it in the best way possible."

Sanchez cost the Gunners £35m when he moved from Barcelona last summer.
