Aaron Ramsey claims that his Arsenal teammates are "hungrier than ever" to win trophies this season.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has claimed that his teammates are "hungrier than ever" to win trophies this season.

The Gunners, who are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table, last got their hands on some silverware in 2005 when they lifted the FA Cup.

"We're hungrier than ever to win anything," Ramsey told the club's official website. "We know we have the ability.

"Mentally, we need to be in the right state of mind [in] every game and go into it believing we can win."

Ramsey was one of five players to sign new contracts at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.
