Jack Wilshere handed number 32 shirt at Bournemouth

Bournemouth announce that Jack Wilshere, who joined on loan from Arsenal on transfer deadline day, will wear the number 32 shirt this season.

England midfielder Jack Wilshere will wear the number 32 shirt for Bournemouth this season.

The 24-year-old, who has struggled with injuries in recent seasons, completed a surprise loan move to Eddie Howe's side from Arsenal on transfer deadline day.

It is understood that Wilshere had the chance to join Crystal Palace, in addition to Roma and AC Milan, but chose to represent Bournemouth for the remainder of the 2016-17 campaign.

Wilshere's first loan spell came in 2010, when he represented Bolton Wanderers in the second half of the 2009-10 season. He could make his Bournemouth debut in their Premier League clash with West Bromwich Albion on September 10.
