Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud insists that he can improve next season.

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has admitted that he can do "much better" next season.

The Frenchman netted 17 goals last campaign following a £13m move from Montpellier in the summer of 2012.

"I know I can do much better and that's what I want to show from the first game [onwards]," Giroud told Sky Sports News. "I'm really excited about the start of the season."

The Gunners get the new Premier League season underway at home to Aston Villa on August 17.
