Mathieu Flamini: 'We have to remain focused'

Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini insists that he and his teammates cannot afford to let Martin Skrtel's last-minute equaliser for Liverpool affect them going forward.

Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini is adamant that his side cannot let their disappointment over conceding a last-minute equaliser to Liverpool affect their focus over the busy festive period.

Arsene Wenger's men were seconds away from clinching a 2-1 victory at Anfield as strikes from Mathieu Debuchy and Olivier Giroud had put them ahead, but Martin Skrtel scored in the 97th minute to earn the Merseysiders a point at Anfield.

Flamini told reporters: "The most important thing is to recover well and be ready for the next game.

"In probably 10 days, we have three or four games so it is going to be a lot. We have to recover well for the next game and if we are ready, it will be fine.

"We had a bit of frustration because we felt we were unlucky. We conceded a stupid goal from a corner. But that's football and we have to get on with it."

Wenger's men are sixth in the Premier League after 17 matches this season.
