Ethiopia want Arsenal youngster

Sewnet Bishaw urges Arsenal's young midfielder Gedion Zelalem to play his international football for Ethiopia.

Ethiopia coach Sewnet Bishaw has admitted that he would like Arsenal midfielder Gedion Zelalem to commit his international future to the African nation.

The 16-year-old was born in Germany, but he would qualify for Ethiopia because both of his parents were born there.

"If he decides to play for us, then things will be easy," the London Evening Standard quotes Zelalem as saying.

Zelalem, who was recently branded 'the new Cesc Fabregas', joined Arsenal in January of this year and featured for the senior side during their pre-season tour of the Far East.
