Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain delighted by Arsenal return

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is happy to make his Arsenal return during the win at Aston Villa after five months out with a knee injury.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has expressed his joy at making his long-awaited return for Arsenal during their win over Aston Villa on Monday night.

The England international has been out of action since the opening day of the season due to a knee injury, but came on as a second-half substitute during the Gunners' 2-1 win at Villa Park last night.

"Nice to get back on the pitch tonight, especially with a good 3 points. Had to dig deep second half, but we managed to see the game out #AFC" Oxlade-Chamberlain posted on Twitter.

Jack Wilshere and Olivier Giroud scored the goals to send Arsenal back to the top of the Premier League table.
