Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has admitted that his side "stopped playing" when 1-0 up against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Monday night.
The Gunners captain was in the right place to score the opener from a tight angle in the first half, but Arsenal's dominance soon waned as Christian Benteke and Odsonne Edouard turned the tie on its head.
Mikel Arteta's blushes would be spared when Alexandre Lacazette netted the equaliser with virtually the last kick of the game, but Aubameyang has made an honest admission after another two dropped points.
Aubameyang wrote on Instagram: " Not enough for a home game. We stopped playing after the first goal but we didn't gave up and fought till the end. Big help from the guys that came in. @lacazettealex well deserved my bro. We go again #COYG."
Aubameyang's opener at the Emirates was his sixth goal from eight appearances in all competitions this season, with the Gunners now 12th in the table after eight matches.
Arsenal were also dealt an injury blow with Bukayo Saka on the night, with Arteta blasting Mike Dean's decision not to hand James McArthur a red card for his swing at the 20-year-old.
