Arsenal and Manchester City have both been charged with failing to ensure that their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during Wednesday's Premier League clash.
The Gunners lost their grip on first place in the Premier League table to the reigning champions, who went ahead through Kevin De Bruyne before Bukayo Saka levelled from the spot.
However, Jack Grealish and Erling Braut Haaland both made the net ripple in the second 45 minutes to condemn Arsenal to a 3-1 defeat, as Man City rose to the summit on goal difference.
The clash at the Emirates Stadium saw referee Anthony Taylor swarmed by players from both sides on several occasions, firstly after awarding a penalty for Ederson's foul on Eddie Nketiah towards the end of the first half.
Multiple members of Pep Guardiola's team protested the penalty award to Taylor, but VAR did not overturn the referee's call, and Arsenal soon questioned Taylor's decision to award a spot kick for Gabriel Magalhaes's challenge on Haaland in the 56th minute.

Gabriel was booked for hauling Haaland down, but the decision was ultimately overturned due to the Norwegian being offside in the build-up, and Man City surrounded Taylor for a second time in the 64th minute.
Nketiah was booked for a crunching challenge on Ruben Dias, but some Citizens players felt that the tackle warranted further punishment - calls that fell on deaf ears.
Following the incidents, both Arsenal and Man City have been hit with charges by the FA, who are trying to crack down on players swarming around match officials.
A statement read: "Arsenal and Manchester City have been charged after their players surrounded the match official at different times during the Premier League fixture on Wednesday 15 February.
"It's alleged that both clubs failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion, with Arsenal's players surrounding the match official in the 56th minute, and Manchester City's doing so in the 42nd and 64th minutes. Both clubs have until Tuesday 21 February to provide their respective responses."

Arsenal's improper conduct charge is already their third this year, having been docked a total of £80,000 for similar incidents during January's meetings with Newcastle United and Oxford United.
The end of Wednesday's game was also marred by Arsenal fans throwing bottles and cups in the direction of Man City midfielder De Bruyne after he was substituted for Kalvin Phillips in the 87th minute.
The Belgian was targeted by the missiles as he made his way around the perimeter of the pitch, although he was not hit by any of the objects and cut an amused figure while looking into the crowd.
Arsenal and the FA are both investigating the bottles being thrown at De Bruyne, with the Gunners promising that any spectators found guilty will be subject to "strict sanctions".
Mikel Arteta's side can overtake Man City at the top of the table with victory over Aston Villa on Saturday lunchtime before the champions kick off against Nottingham Forest at 3pm.
