Chelsea will renew acquaintances with Brentford having been paired together in the EFL Cup quarter-finals.

Chelsea will renew acquaintances with Brentford having been paired with the Bees in the EFL Cup quarter-finals.

The two London clubs recently squared off in the Premier League, the top-flight leaders being pushed all the way before sealing a 1-0 victory.

Chelsea will now return to the Brentford Community Stadium for what will be one of two capital-city derbies to take place in the last eight.

Tottenham Hotspur were drawn out with West Ham United, who ended Manchester City's long reign in this competition earlier this week.

Liverpool's reward for edging past Preston North End is a home tie with Leicester City, while Arsenal will welcome League One club Sunderland to the Emirates Stadium.

The matches will be played in the week commencing December 20.
