Jack Wilshere 'injury doubt for Arsenal's pre-season tour'

Jack Wilshere could miss out on a place on Arsenal's pre-season tour as he is reportedly struggling to recover from a broken leg in time.

Jack Wilshere is reportedly in danger of missing Arsenal's pre-season tour to Australia and China due to his ongoing injury woes.

The midfielder suffered a broken leg in April while playing for Bournemouth, where he spent last season on loan.

The 25-year-old has since been going through an intensive rehabilitation programme, but according to The Mirror, he is running out of time to be fit for the start of pre-season.

Arsene Wenger, who signed a new two-year deal in May, will welcome back the majority of his players on Monday ahead of the first friendly in Australia on July 13.

It is believed that Arsenal want to offer Wilshere a new contract as he has just one year remaining on his current deal, but no official word has been made yet.
