How Arsenal could line up against West Ham United

Sports Mole looks at how Arsenal could line up against West Ham United after seeing six players return to full training this week.

Arsenal travel to the London Stadium on Saturday looking to continue their 100% start to 2019.

The Gunners have won both of their matches since the turn of the year, and another triumph this weekend would see them temporarily move level on points with fourth-placed Chelsea.

The importance of victory for Unai Emery's side is only heightened by an upcoming double-header against Chelsea and Manchester United in their next two matches.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the visitors could line up at the London Stadium.

Possible ARS XI vs. WHU

Out: Henrikh Mkhitaryan (foot), Rob Holding (knee), Danny Welbeck (ankle)
Doubtful: Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin)

Arsenal have been boosted by the news that six players have returned to full training recently, significantly easing the injury concerns which have plagued them for some time now.

Five of those returning six provide a timely boost in defence, with Hector Bellerin, Laurent Koscielny, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Shkodran Mustafi and Nacho Monreal all back in contention after spells out through injury.

Emery may finally be able to name a full-strength backline for the first time since his appointment as manager, then, while Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira are expected to return in midfield.

Mesut Ozil is the sixth player to be back in training after a knee problem and he will be hopeful of starting this one, but Henrikh Mkhitaryan remains sidelined with a foot injury.

Top-scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expected to start once again, having scored four goals in his last four games for the club.
