Former Arsenal Women forward Rachel Yankey has become the second player to be inducted into the Women's Super League Hall of Fame.

Launched to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the WSL, England's record-appearance maker Fara Williams - who earned 172 caps for the national team - was the inaugural inductee on Wednesday.

The 37-year-old - a former Gunner who was best renowned for her exploits with Everton - has now been joined by Yankey, who formed an integral part of Arsenal's dominant side under Vic Akers.

Yankey enjoyed two separate stints at Arsenal and helped the club to an unprecedented haul of trophies between 2005 and 2016, winning seven top-flight titles in a row during her second spell at the club, as well as nine FA Cups and the UEFA Women's Cup in 2007.

Yankey totalled 198 appearances for Arsenal across all competitions during her two spells at the club, scoring 51 goals, and she also represented Fulham, Birmingham and the New Jersey Wildcats during her career.

The 129-cap England international also found the back of the net 19 times for her country and represented Great Britain at the 2012 Olympics, as well as receiving an OBE in 2014.
