Sports Mole takes a look at Angola ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Angola sealed their place in a sixth Africa Cup of Nations thanks to a narrow away-goals victory over Zimbabwe in the playoffs.

Djalma Campos's goal in a 3-1 defeat in Harare proved invaluable to the Sable Antelopes as they went on to clinch a 2-0 triumph in the second leg to send them through to the finals.

Coach Gustavo Ferrin has some international experience to his name, taking charge of his native Uruguay at Under-17, Under-20 and, briefly, at senior level.

Despite a poor showing at the last tournament, Angola should take some encouragement from reaching the quarter-finals in 2008 and 2010.

Group: A

Players to watch out for:

Gilberto:
Angola's Mr Reliable, the 30-year-old is a relentless presence in midfield. There is plenty of know-how in the squad, but they will look to Gilberto for inspiration as they hope to upset the odds and get out of Group A.

Manucho:
The former Manchester United striker has an impressive record in front of goal for his country, hitting the net 22 times in 44 appearances. Angola will need the 29-year-old to lead the way in attack if they are to oust South Africa or Morocco.

Previous best: Quarter-finals 2008, 2010

Odds to win outright: 40/1
