Schalke 04 general manager Horst Heldt has revealed that AC Milan are keen on their Greek defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos.
The 20-year-old is widely considered to be one of the most talented young defenders in world football, impressing for his country at Euro 2012.
"AC Milan have expressed an interest in Papadopoulos, but he is very happy at Schalke, however, so the matter is closed," he told reporters.
It is understood that Milan want Papadopoulos to replace Thiago Silva, who has joined Paris Saint-Germain.
