AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has revealed that his club have turned down an offer from Napoli for Italian international Mattia De Sciglio.
The 23-year-old impressed during Italy's run to the quarter-finals of Euro 2016 and Barcelona have recently been credited with an interest in the full-back.
Galliani has claimed that Napoli launched a bid for De Sciglio following the European Championships, but Milan "swiftly turned it down".
"We received an offer from Napoli, from my friend Aurelio De Laurentiis. But we swiftly turned it down. I can guarantee, that no-one else has made any real efforts to buy the player. Juventus have never made an offer for him," Galliani told reporters.
"He has never asked to leave. He is doing well and happy at Milan. I want to congratulate him for the very good end to the season with the Rossoneri colours and, more recently, for the great European Championship for Italy. The De Sciglio we all knew has returned."
De Sciglio came through the youth system at his current club.
