AC Milan captain Leonardo Bonucci has insisted that he wants to remain at the club despite rumours regarding his future at San Siro.
Bonucci led Milan to sixth position in Serie A and the Coppa Italia final during his first campaign at the club, although recent reports have suggested that Milan might be forced to move the 31-year-old on having failed to qualify for the Champions League.
"There isn't any kind of problem," Bonucci told Sky Sport Italia when asked about his future. "Let's hope the rumours that are circulating are resolved.
"We want to build something important. We are definitely aiming to get back in the Champions League, to get back on track and compete for big targets."
Milan signed Bonucci from Italian rivals Juventus for a fee of £35m during the summer of 2017.
