Agent: 'Didac Vila wants AC Milan return'

The agent of AC Milan defender Didac Vila has insisted that his client wants to return to the San Siro this summer.

The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Espanyol after signing in January 2011, but his agent, Raul Jimenez Verdu, claims that the full-back wants to return to Milan.

"Didac would like to return to being a Milan player. However, he is aware how difficult it is to carve out a space for himself in such a big team. But we are looking forward to meeting with Milan to assess the boy's future," Verdu told Milannews.it.

"Didac is coming off an excellent season in which he was the outfield player who played the most minutes throughout the entire Spanish Liga. He missed only one game and scored three goals."

Milan finished second in Serie A last term.
