A report in Italy claims that AC Milan will listen to offers of £39m for centre-forward Alexandre Pato in January.

Italian champions AC Milan are prepared to sell striker Alexandre Pato during the January transfer window, according to calciomercato.com

The report claims that the Rossoneri will accept offers of around £39m for the Brazilian international.

Those funds will then be used to entice a midfielder to the San Siro, as Clarence Seedorf, Mark van Bommel and Massimo Ambrosini are all advancing in years.

Pato, 22, joined Milan in January 2008 and has since made over 100 Serie A appearances for the club.

Premier League leaders Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be interested in signing the centre-forward.
