AC Milan are reportedly contemplating whether to make a formal approach for Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore.
The Spain international has just reached the end of his fifth year at Molineux, playing a key role in the club retaining their place in the Premier League.
In total, Traore has contributed 14 goals and 20 assists from his 194 appearances in all competitions, with his numbers not necessarily telling the whole story with his speed in the final third proving to be a valuable asset to Wolves.
Last season, the attacker was provided with significantly more minutes than he received during the previous campaign, largely owing to Julen Lopetegui handing him an important role in the squad.
Nevertheless, the 27-year-old has rejected several contract offers from Wolves and is currently considering his options ahead of 2023-24.

Wolves have already acknowledged that they have presented a final proposal, one which Traore is yet to turn down, but it is known that he is toying with the opportunities that are being presented elsewhere.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio on Twitter, AC Milan view the former Barcelona academy graduate and loanee as a possible target for the final third.
Stefano Pioli is currently in the process of rejigging his first-team squad with funds due to be available from the big-money departure of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United.
Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek seems likely to be the next player to arrive at San Siro, a deal expected to be confirmed before the end of the week.

However, Pioli is keen to add at least one new winger to his squad and Milan are also said to be in negotiations with Chelsea regarding a potential deal for Christian Pulisic.
As it stands, though, they are wide apart regarding a fee, theoretically leaving a free agent such as Traore as a more attractive opposition as they bid to retain a sound footing with FFP.
Milan are allegedly not the only team who hold a desire to sign Traore with Serie A champions Napoli having been credited with an interest in acquiring his services.
That said, Traore revealed last season that he eventually wants to spend a longer stint in La Liga, with his previous two brief periods coming after he came through the youth ranks at Barcelona and then spent the second half of 2021-22 at Camp Nou.
