Massimiliano Allegri wants AC Milan improvement

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri wants his players to improve defensively for Wednesday's Champions League opener against Celtic at the San Siro.

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has called on his players to improve defensively for Wednesday's Champions League opener against Celtic.

Milan, who welcome the Scottish champions to the San Siro, also have Ajax and Barcelona to play in Group H.

"We can't afford to slip up against Celtic on Wednesday," BBC Sport quotes Allegri as saying. "At the moment our defensive play is just not where it should be - and I'm talking about as a team."

The Rossoneri are currently in ninth place in the Serie A table with one win from their first three games.
