Fiorentina 2-0 Catania

Fiorentina comfortably defeat Catania 2-0 at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Luca Toni scored on his return to Fiorentina in a 2-0 win over Catania this afternoon.

The hosts were the better team through the game, but had to wait until three minutes before half time for the breakthrough.

Steven Jovetic twisted and turned on the edge of the box before clipping a left-footed shot low past Mariano Andujar.

The Montenegro star turned provider for Viola's second in the 65th minute. He sprung the offside trap before squaring the ball for Toni to roll into an empty net.
