Joe Exotic 'planning to approach Joe Biden for pardon'

Tiger King star Joe Exotic reportedly turns to new President Joe Biden in an attempt to secure his freedom from jail after a pardon request was snubbed by Donald Trump.

Tiger King star Joe Exotic is reportedly hoping that newly-installed President Joe Biden will grant him a pardon.

The 57-year-old is currently serving a 22-year jail term after being convicted of animal cruelty and a plot to murder rival Carole Baskin but believes that corruption at the Department of Justice is responsible for his false imprisonment.

After becoming a global name following the release of the Netflix series a year ago, Exotic pleaded with Donald Trump to look at his case and grant him a pardon - and in Trump's final day of office, he even had a stretch limousine waiting for him outside of his Texas prison in the event that he was released.

The pardon never came, but according to TMZ, Exotic's team have now started email correspondence with the Biden administration in an attempt to secure his freedom.

The publication says that Exotic became a big fan of Vice-President Kamala Harris after watching a documentary about her and thinks that she will be motivated to "help clean up the corruption in the DOJ and other agencies".
