The Bachelor star and former San Diego Chargers tight-end Colton Underwood reveals his positive coronavirus diagnosis.

The Bachelor star and former San Diego Chargers tight-end Colton Underwood has revealed that he has tested positive for the deadly coronavirus.

The 28-year-old shared the news of his diagnosis on Instagram on Friday, insisting that he will "be fine" and confirming that his fever has already subsided.

Underwood, who starred in one of the most eventful seasons of The Bachelor ever last year, wrote: "I tested positive and I have been following all of the social distancing rules since last week.

"My symptoms started a few days ago, I was tested and just received my results today.

"For anyone out there that is hesitant to self quarantine... please do yourself and your loved ones a favor and stay home.

"We will all beat this and come out stronger on the other side. I'll keep you posted, Love y'all."

The coronavirus pandemic has so far claimed more than 14,600 lives worldwide.
