Lea Michele posts tribute to Naya Rivera, Cory Monteith

Lea Michele breaks her social media silence to share a tribute to her late Glee co-stars Naya Rivera and Cory Monteith.

Glee actress Lea Michele has taken to social media to post a tribute to her late co-stars Naya Rivera and Cory Monteith.

Rivera's body was recovered from a Californian lake yesterday after she drowned while swimming - seven years to the day that Monteith died of an accidental drugs overdose.

Michele has been quiet on social media for more than a month following multiple allegations about her poor behind-the-scenes behaviour, and over the weekend she was forced to delete her Twitter account after being trolled for not commenting on Rivera's disappearance.

Posting on her Instagram Stories on Monday, Michele shared previously-unseen images of both Monteith, whom she was dating at the time of his death, and Rivera in black and white.

Officers investigating Rivera's death have hinted that they suspect that the actress may have helped her four-year-old son to safety on board their boat before she disappeared beneath the water.
