Gemma Collins keen to immortalise parents as robots

Gemma Collins reveals that she is looking into the possibility of having her parents reimagined as robots when they die.

Gemma Collins has outlined her desire to have her parents reimagined as robots when they die.

The 39-year-old's mother Joan Collins, 65, is well-known to viewers of TOWIE, having appeared on the show alongside The GC in the past, while her businessman father Alan Collins, 72, has been seen in her ITVBe reality show Diva Forever and Ever.

Speaking on the latest episode of her podcast - The Gemma Collins Podcast - The GC admitted contemplating her parents' mortality of late and has resolved to look into the possibility of immortalising them.

"When your parents pass away, you could recreate them in a robot form so you felt like they were with you," she told listeners. "That [thought] makes me so happy.

"I am going to look into the process of definitely cloning my parents and if all else fails I am going to get myself a robot boyfriend and a robot baby.

"Funnily enough my dad was calling me from his work the other day and I thought 'one day he won't be able to call me from his work'. I will miss the calls because I'm always like 'oh no it's my dad I've got to take the call'."

She added: "I'm thinking [robots] could also cut down my wage bills because I have quite a lot of help in the house. I might as well get a robot to do it. It would be a lot cheaper."

Gemma Collins: Diva Forever and Ever airs Tuesdays at 9pm on ITVBe.
