Gemma Collins shares her belief that she is descended from witches and says that as a result, Halloween "is kind of like my birthday".

Gemma Collins has revealed that she has an affinity with witchcraft and believes that she has witches in her family tree.

Speaking on a Halloween edition of her podcast - The Gemma Collins Podcast - the 39-year-old said that she would enjoy nothing more than to "get on my broomstick and just zoom up there for a couple of years to say hello to my witching friends".

"I've always seen myself as a bit of a witch, so Halloween I suppose is kind of like my birthday," she told listeners.

"I do feel like I'm a witch - I definitely feel that in the past I am from witches. My mum can read tarot cards and she has premonitions.

"I would like to research my blood line because I do feel a real affinity to witches.

"Witches if you can hear me... come to my house on Halloween. I will look after you, I will feed you toffee apples and I will give you some prosecco."

The GC's ITVBe reality series Diva Forever and Ever continues Tuesdays at 9pm, while The Gemma Collins Podcast is available now through BBC Sounds.
