ITV2 has commissioned a new dating show to fill the gap left by the 2021 Winter series of Love Island.
The Cabins will see singletons go on dates together by the rather unconventional means of moving into a log cabin together for 24 hours to see if they are a match.
The show is an adaptation of the Let Love Rule format that airs in the Netherlands and Sweden and comes from ITV Studios, makers of Love Island.
"This is a fantastic new format which challenges young people to delete the apps and attempt to date face to face, with no distractions," said Paul Mortimer, ITV's head of digital channels.
"We're thrilled to be bringing this show to ITV2 viewers who will have front row seats, eavesdropping on our couples as they attempt to find true love."
The show is currently casting and expects to film before Christmas for transmission in early 2021.
