ITVBe has begun filming on new series The Real Housewives of Jersey ahead of its premiere later this year.
The show is a spinoff from the channel's successful The Real Housewives of Cheshire, which has now aired for 11 seasons and is part of the popular Real Housewives franchise which originated in the US.
The new series will follow elite families living on the largest of the Channel Islands and their lavish lifestyles and is rumoured to include 21-year-old singer Tallia Storm, a former protege of Elton John who has also appeared on The X Factor.
Announcing the show, ITV's head of digital channels Paul Mortimer said: "Having become one of ITVBe's biggest hits, The Real Housewives of Cheshire will soon have a sister show under the ITVBe umbrella.
"The Real Housewives of Jersey promises an equally fabulous cast in another aspirational location. We're thrilled to welcome these ladies into the ITVBe family and know our audience will look forward to getting to know each of them over the course of their debut series."
Exec producer Mike Swindells added: "[We are] incredibly excited to build on the Housewives franchise and bring The Real Housewives of Jersey to ITVBe.
"It's a fantastic opportunity to introduce the world to brand new Housewives and to see how their lives unfold in one of the most unique locations in the UK. We can't wait to experience all the island has to offer!"
The franchise has 10 different versions in the US as well as international versions set in the likes of Athens, Sydney, Vancouver and Bangkok.
