Lorraine Kelly hits out at "irrelevant" Harry and Meghan

Lorraine Kelly takes a swipe at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after they announce that they will no longer engage with British tabloids.

Good Morning Britain host Lorraine Kelly has given her opinion on the "very sad" state of affairs with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The pair have stepped down as working members of the Royal Family and are currently on lockdown in Los Angeles.

Several British tabloids have revealed that they have been contacted by Harry and Meghan in recent days to be informed that the couple will no longer engage with their publications as part of their "revised media approach".

"I just think it's very sad," said Kelly on her show today. "They could have been such an asset to the royal family, especially now and there they are stuck in La La Land.

"He's away from his family and actually, to be honest, they both seem kind of irrelevant.

"Obviously we don't wish them any ill will. I hope they will be happy, it just seems really sad."

GMB's Piers Morgan has also voiced his disapproval of the Royal couple's antics, branding them "whiny little brats in Hollywood".
