Russell T Davies announces rewatch of 'Doctor Who' series four finale

Former Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies announces a rewatch of the series four finale on Sunday.

Former Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies has confirmed a rewatch event of the series four two-part finale 'The Stolen Earth' and 'Journey's End' on Sunday.

The episodes - first shown in 2008 - saw David Tennant's Doctor reunite with a host of his former companions, including Rose, Captain Jack, Martha and Sarah Jane, in order to fend off a potentially universe-ending threat from the Daleks.

Davies will tweet along on Sunday as the event begins at 7pm, alongside legendary show director Graeme Harper, and has promised "extra surprises" on the day, "one of which is brand new and the best thing I've ever made".

The episodes in question are available to stream on iPlayer and Netflix in the UK.
