First celebrity eliminated from Dancing On Ice

The first celebrity is eliminated from Dancing On Ice after the first skate-off of the series.

Myleene Klass and her pro partner Lukasz Rozycki have become the first pair to be eliminated from this year's Dancing On Ice.

The duo found themselves bottom of the public vote after the second group of celebrities had taken to the ice, pitting them against last week's bottom couple - Lady Leshurr and partner Brendyn Hatfield - in the skate-off.

The judges then cast their votes and all four were unanimous in the decision that musician Klass should go home.

"I couldn't have done it, obviously, without Lukasz and my family," she told hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby after the result was announced.

"I've never skated before, I've got a skill I've learned in lockdown - who would have thought it? I feel really chuffed!"

The couples remaining in the competition will all return next week for musicals week, although the participation of comedian Rufus Hound - currently self-isolating after a contact tested positive for coronavirus - remains unclear.
