US streaming network NBC News Now is on the verge of launching in the UK through Sky.
An exact launch date for the channel has yet to be announced, although test broadcasts have started off the EPG - and eager viewers can watch by manually adding the station to their Sky boxes.
Here, Media Mole explains how to tune in to the NBC News Now tests manually through Sky.
Sky Q customers
Access the manual tuning menu by pressing the home button, scrolling down to Settings, then down to Manual tuning. Head to the bottom and select 'Add a channel', then enter the details below and select 'Find channels'.
Frequency: 11.386
Polarisation: H
Symbol rate: 29.5
FEC: 8/9
Standard: DVB-S2
Modulation scheme: QPSK
Locate '53710' in the list, select it, then select 'Save channels'.
To watch the NBC News Now tests, revisit the manual tuning menu and select 53710 from the list.
Sky+ customers
Access the 'Options' sub-menu within the Sky on-screen guide. Select 'Add channels', then enter the details below and press the yellow button to search.
Frequency: 11.386
Polarisation: H
Symbol rate: 29.5
FEC: 8/9
Locate '53710' in the list then press yellow again, then press 'Select' to save.
To watch the NBC News Now tests, revisit the 'Other channels' menu and select 53710 from the list.
