Great Britain men's wheelchair basketball side make European Championships final

Great Britain men's wheelchair basketball side reach the final of the European Championships, but the women's team suffer defeat in the last four in Worcester.

Great Britain men's wheelchair basketball side have defeated Germany to reach the final of the European Championships.

The defending champions ran out 77-68 winners to set up a final against Turkey, who got the better of the Netherlands by a 69-50 scoreline.

However, there was disappointment for the women's team, who suffered an agonising 56-55 defeat to Germany to miss out on the final for the fifth consecutive year.

Earlier this week, both sides secured qualification for the 2016 Paralympic Games courtesy of reaching the semi-finals of the tournament in Worcester.
