Adrian Lewis has recorded a 6-1 victory over Michael van Gerwen in the final of the first UK Open qualifier in Wigan.
The world number four, who won the tournament last year, averaged just below 105 against the Dutchman as he completed an impressive day in the North-West.
Lewis averaged a phenomenal 121.86 in thrashing Ryan Harrington in the opening round, before he reached the final with wins over Mick Todd, Ronny Huybrechts, Peter Wright, Justin Pipe and Brendan Dolan respectively.
After overcoming Kevin McDine and Jan Dekker in the early stages, Van Gerwen beat Simon Whitlock, Brian Woods, Mensur Suljovic and Mark Webster to reach the final.
The second of six events takes place on Saturday.
