Adrian Lewis through to last 16

Two-time world champion Adrian Lewis is through to the third round of the PDC World Championship after recording a 4-1 win over Vincent van der Voort.

Adrian Lewis produced a scintillating performance on Monday evening to record a 4-1 victory over Vincent van der Voort at the PDC World Championship.

The two-time world champion averaged over 103 against the Dutchman to move through to the third round of the competition at Alexandra Palace.

James Wade fought back from 3-0 down against Andy Smith to win 4-2 in a deciding set, hitting checkouts of 122 and 100 respectively in the final two legs of the match.

Mervyn King will face Lewis in the last 16 after he withstood an impressive display from Ricky Evans, but the 2012 World Grand Prix runner-up edged to a 4-2 success over the 23-year-old.
