Michael van Gerwen has become the fourth different winner of a Premier League week in 2023 with victory in Dublin.
The Dutchman averaged in excess over the first three weeks without success, finding himself down in sixth position of the eight-player league.
However, despite failing to make triple figures in any of his three matches on Thursday, the defending champion still came away with the triumph.
After beating Chris Dobey and Jonny Clayton to reach the final, Van Gerwen found himself on the verge of defeat to Gerwyn Price when trailing by a 5-2 scoreline.

Nevertheless, Van Gerwen rallied to get back on level terms, witnessing Price miss two match darts, before both men were guilty of nerves getting the better of them in the decider.
Price missed another five match darts, either side of Van Gerwen squandering a chance of his own, before Van Gerwen finally got over the line.
The 33-year-old catapults himself into first spot, with Michael Smith, Price and Nathan Aspinall all separated by a point each in the top four.
While Dobey, Dimitri van den Bergh and Clayton are in hot pursuit, Peter Wright remains without a point and is already seven points adrift of the playoff places.
