Raymond van Barneveld has admitted that he will need to improve to win his second Grand Slam of Darts title in Wolverhampton.
The five-time world champion has qualified for the last 16 at the event at the Civic Hall but only after opponent Vincent van der Voort missed seven darts to beat him on Sunday.
The 47-year-old told PDC.tv: "Vincent deserved to win but he gave me one chance and I took it. If someone misses doubles like that you are a bit lucky, but this game is all about hitting your doubles.
"I've got two wins now but I rode my luck a little bit today and I know I still have to improve."
Van Barneveld will guarantee top spot in Group D if he can overcome Robert Thornton on Monday evening.
