Phil Taylor has admitted that the Dublin crowd almost put him off during his World Grand Prix victory over Brendan Dolan.
'The Power', who claimed his tenth title by beating the Northern Irishman 6-3, had to battle a chorus of boos from the crowd, who were rooting for underdog Dolan.
"I think every emotion went through my body there," Taylor told Sky Sports News.
"Halfway through the game I was giving up and then I was pushing - the crowd got to me, I'll be honest with you.
"The booing every time you're throwing for a double does get to you, it's very, very off-putting but I knew what was going to happen and I just had to keep focusing."
Taylor picked up a cheque for £100,000 for the win.
