Alexander Kristoff wins stage 15 of the Tour de France

Norwegian Alexander Kristoff leaves it late to win the 15th stage of the Tour de France.

Alexander Kristoff took the 15th stage of the ongoing Tour de France this afternoon, coming home first in the 222km flat stretch from Tallard to Nimes.

It appeared that Garmin-Sharp's Jack Bauer was going to win through, but with 50m left to race, he was surpassed by Heinrich Haussler and Kristoff, with the latter coming out on top.

As for Bauer, he eventually finished down in 10th place and was visibly upset by what had occurred in the closing stages.

In terms of the race for the yellow jersey, there has been no alteration in the standings, with Vincenzo Nibali holding a lead of four minutes and 37 seconds over Alejandro Valverde in second spot.
