Organisers have revealed that the 2014 Tour de France will begin with three days in England and contain just one time trial.

The route has not been catered to current champion Chris Froome's strengths as he will have to endure the cobbles of northern Europe, as well as climb unfamiliar mountains in the east of France.
The race, which includes 25 ascents, will begin in Leeds on July 5 and will end 22 days later on the Champs-Elysees in Paris.
The 101st Tour will also pay homage to World War I.
