Team GB's Bradley Wiggins sets his sights on earning his fifth Olympic gold medal just hours after winning his fourth at London 2012.

Hours after winning his fourth Olympic gold medal, Team GB's Bradley Wiggins set his sights on earning his fifth.

The 32-year-old, who was crowned as Britain's first ever winner of the Tour de France last month, won the men's time trial at London 2012 by a margin of 42 seconds yesterday.

He said: "It had to be gold or nothing. What's the point of seven medals if they're not the right colour?

"Mainly it's about the four golds. Now I have to go to Rio [in 2016] and go for five."

The 2016 Games will be held in South America for the first time in Olympic history.
