Dutch rider Lars Boom won the third stage of the Tour of Britain this afternoon.
The 25-year-old Radobank team member crossed the line narrowly in front of teammate Michael Matthews, while Geraint Thomas and Mark Cavendish settled for third and fourth place respectively.
After yesterday's leg was abandoned due to poor weather conditions, today's stage began and ended in Stoke's city centre.
Tomorrow's event will see the riders race the 114 miles from Welshpool to Caerphilly.
