Team Sky release a statement confirming that all members of the squad must sign an anti-doping pledge.

Team Sky have revealed that all of their members must sign a pledge confirming that they have never been involved with doping or they will be thrown out of the squad.

The team has created the new policy following the revelations about Lance Armstrong's involvement with performance-enhancing drugs.

A statement from the team said: "We will ask everyone to sign up to a written policy, confirming that they have no past or present involvement in doping.

"Should anyone choose not to sign up they will have to leave the team.

"We are making this statement because we believe it is important to be open about the steps we are taking."

Bradley Wiggins has insisted that there is still plenty to celebrate in cycling despite the scandal involving Armstrong.
