Isle of Man cyclist Jonny Bellis has withdrawn from the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow because of a knee injury.
The 25-year-old was selected to compete in the points and scratch races on the track, with the latter taking place this evening.
Bellis tweeted the announcement on his personal page, highlighting his disappointment at the situation.
Unfortunately my commonwealth games has been forced to end early due to an ongoing knee injury, really disappointed.

Feel like I have let so many people down, but it is out of my control. Plan is to get 100% fit again and on to the next target.

Bellis spent a month in a coma in 2009 after being knocked from a scooter while training abroad, but was back racing less than a year later.
