The West Indies have reached lunch on 159-2 on day two of the third Test against New Zealand.
The hosts ended day one in Barbados on 32 runs without loss after New Zealand were bowled all out for 293.
Chris Gayle was the first wicket to go for the West Indies when he was caught out by Hamish Rutherford following a Mark Craig delivery.
After Gayle left the field having taken 42 runs from 53 balls, Kraigg Braithwaite and Kirk Edwards steadied the West Indies' attack until Braithwaite was dismissed on 68.
Edwards (41 not out) and Darren Bravo will return to the crease for the afternoon session.
