Sussex Sharks captain Luke Wright has hailed the performance that Tymal Mills put in during their six-run victory over Gloucestershire in the T20 Blast yesterday afternoon.
Bowler Mills, who arrived at Hove from Essex late last year, took career-best figures of 3-30 - a haul which included the wicket of Jack Taylor in the final over.
"Tymal is only just back from injury and he had to bowl off a shortened run-up today," the ECB's official website quotes Wright as saying.
"But he has still got pace and, in Twenty20 cricket, pace gets wickets. The only way to stop teams getting big runs is to take wickets and that is why it is exciting for us to have Tymal in our side this season."
On Friday, the Sharks will travel to Somerset for their third T20 Blast match of the campaign.
