Sri Lanka take control by reaching 50-run lead over Pakistan at tea

Sri Lanka lead Pakistan by 50 runs following a dominant afternoon session that has left them 215-3 at tea in Dubai.

Sri Lanka's batsmen have dominated the afternoon session on day two of the second Test against Pakistan by taking a 50-run lead in Dubai.

Sri Lanka have reached tea on 215-3 following a morning session that had the team worried in the middle after losing two wickets before lunch, leaving them on 88-3 at the time of Dinesh Chandimal's fall.

However, Kaushal Silva continued to frustrate Pakistan's batsmen by reaching the break unbeaten on 92 from 202 balls, while Mahela Jayawardene has set up a strong partnership with Silva by contributing a half-century from 134.

Rahat Ali currently sits on the worst bowling figures for Pakistan having conceded 80 runs with just one wicket in hand.
