Sri Lanka have reached 265-8 to win the fourth Asia Cup match against India by two wickets, with four balls remaining.
Sri Lanka were set a target of 265 after India's innings, which resulted in Shikhar Dhawan becoming top scorer with 94.
It was a positive start for opening batsmen Kusal Perera and Lahiru Thirimanne, who racked up a combined 80 runs before Thirimanne (38) was taken out by Ravichandran Ashwin for an lbw.
Perera (64) was the next to fall, but Kumar Sangakkara steadied Sri Lanka's attack and frustrated India's bowlers by eventually hitting 12 boundaries and one six.
Mahela Jayawardene could only muster nine runs before he was dismissed, while Dinesh Chandimal swiftly followed for a duck as India's Ravindra Jadeja took control of the field.
After the fall of three more wickets, Sri Lanka needed 12 runs with as many balls remaining in order to win the match, but they were dealt a blow when Sangakkara was dismissed after reaching a century on 103.
However, Thisara Perera and Ajantha Mendis were able to clinch the victory for Sri Lanka.
